The promotional event “Isola d’Elba e Locman, battiti del cuore e del tempo” was held in the sumptuous halls of Palazzo Metternich, the Italian Embassy in Vienna, and was organized by the Elba Hoteliers’ Association in collaboration with the Italian Trade Promotion Agency and the Italian National Tourism Agency.
In addition to the main sponsor, the famous Elba watchmakers, other emerging Elba based companies also participated, including Toscana Dream presenting OZONO Health & Beauty line of products.
Evening B2B meetings were organised where trade and tourism representatives from Elba could meet Austrian entrepreneurs. A press conference was held later in the Ballroom with the participation of more than 40 accredited journalists. The Ambassador Giorgio Marrapodi gave the welcome address, which was followed by talks about Elba and the screening of films.
A buffet of typical island specialties, accompanied by the best wines from Elba, was served in the adjacent room and was much appreciated by the 150 guests invited to the event.
